Our Services

We provide eye health examinations, diagnosis and treatment of eye disease such as conjunctivitis, glaucoma,  and  ocular injury, computer assisted refraction, complete contact lens services. We fit all specialty contact lens designs including those for high myopes and hyperopes, astigmats, and bifocals. We provide  co-management for laser refractive (LASIK) and cataract surgeries. And we have a wonderful frame selection providing the highest quality optical service to compliment your lifestyle.
If you want to eliminate the need for glasses or contact lenses  you  should talk to us about Corneal Reshaping Therapy (CRT) or Orthokeratology. This exciting procedure uses contact lenses to reshape the cornea or outermost window of the eye which repowers the eye eliminating the patient's refractive error or prescription. This specialized technique is based on principles similar to those used to straighten crooked teeth. CRT patients sleep with special retainer contact lenses which are removed during the daytime, require no corrective lenses and attain excellent visual acuity. CRT is very effective in preventing myopic or nearsighted progression in children.
Keratoconus is a degenerative eye condition which causes thinning of the cornea. Folks who have keratoconus usually suffer with distorted vision. Glasses generally do not provide adequate quality vision. Keratoconus is best controlled by different kinds of contact lenses which help to prevent progression of the condition. These lenses are very specialized and include conventional rigid gas permeable contact lenses (RGP), piggyback lenses which consist of a carrier soft lens fitted with an additional rigid lens on top, combination lenses which are rigid in the center but have a comfortable soft skirt, and scleral lenses which span the cornea and rest comfortably on the white of the eyeball. Treatment  of  keratoconus with contact lenses is a medically necessary procedure and, as such, is usually covered by major medical insurance.
Facilities and Equipment
Treating glaucoma requires specialized diagnostic testing procedures. We utilize the most current highly technical instruments to aid the doctor in the management of this complex disease including digital pachymetry, automated visual field testing, and retinal scanning with HRT and OCT instruments used to both visualize the retina and component parts and to quantify changes in its cellular makeup.
